Where will you be doing your BOLC?

I think the Ordnance folks used to have their schools at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, but I seem to recall rumors that they were moving down to Ft. Lee.

My "Officer Basic Course" (such as it was) was called 'MIMSO' (Military Indoctrination for Medical Service Officers), and was a whole 8 days (including a 3-day weekend) at Sheppard AFB (Wichita Falls, TX). 120 physicians, dentists, nurses, optometrists and a couple of physical therapists. It was rough: "This is called a 'U-Nee-Form'. You wear it. This is where things go on it. You salute these people first. Everybody else salutes you first. Say 'Sir' a lot." and that was pretty mcch it. I understand things have changed a lot in that course since 1984...

Oh, they did try to teach us how to march in formation...Emphasis on 'try'. It could have been ugly, but it was WAAYYYY to funny to be ugly.
